HPC Drilling Template Set "Cylinder Eater" TM

An important tool for precision drilling of the core pin row!
The templates are simply stuck onto the Cylinder Eater and secured by a magnet, therefore switching quickly is unproblematic. The precision of the instrument is achieved by clamping a shortened key blank, which is inserted in the cylinder core and pushes the pins over the shear line through the case holes. The subsequent drilling occurs along the shear line. That way, after removing the drill, the key blank, still resting in the lock’s core, can be turned using the template, and the lock can be operated.

Please note:

The Cylinder Eater ™ is made for North American Cylinder brands. The three templates included are meant for different key blanks, whose distance from the center of the drilling to the top (in the U.S. for locks = bottom) of the locking channel equals 10 mm, 12.7 mm and 14 mm. Equipped with a cobalt alloy drill, it is suitable for standard pins. If a cylinder contains hardened pins, the device can also be converted to use carbide drills.
