SILCA Idea

Idea is an electronic machine with 2 axes (3rd axis optional) with controlled movement. This carefully designed machine guarantees fast and easy operating with maximum precision. It copies bit and double bit keys, as well as pump keys and keys with shoulder.

 Utilisations:

- Entry of keys directly on the keyboard of the machine

- Key lecture with laser device followed by copy

- in connection with PC and Silca-Software

- Decoding and copying

 Main Characteristics:

 Movement:

Movements of the 2 axes (x-y) controlled by ball screws activated by step motors on rectified roller guides

 Rotating clamps (for blank keys):

consisting of auto-centring grippers in a 360° rotating unit, controlled by a step motor, connected by endless screw on gear drive (axis B).

 Operating tools:

consisting of an easy exchangeable cutter out of hard metal (standard) or HSS (optional), whose resistance and cutting quality are adapted to the operation and to the rotating speed of the tool:

 Display:

The back-light display is situated on the machine’s front part. It fits 4 lines with 20 characters each. The technical characteristics and the positioning give an optimal view to the operator.

 Laser optic reader:

for reading the key cuttings.
